The day started off with pumpkin pancakes shaped like pumpkins & ghosts.

We went & did a little Halloween Parade at a local retirement center. The kids were little shy & quiet, but the residents seemed to enjoy seeing the kids.

Here is Hook (Ty), Tinkerbell (Hannah) & Peter Pan (Brans)

Cason was the ferocious crocodile that ate Hook's hand.

Here is Hannah with her friends, Dillon & Elli, she plays with most afternoons.

Here is the brie jack-o-lantern wheel we munched on until dinner time....
complete with crackers, apples & spiders.

Our mummy dogs. (Some of them look like they are in sleeping bags & one looks
like a burn victim... hehe.)

I've seen these meringue bones a number of times & finally gave them a try...
I would do them again for sure!
Ready to head out trick-or-treating!
Mary & Jon joined us for the evening with their dog Sammy
(I can't believe I failed to get a picture of the BEST DOG!)
We had a great Halloween!!

Checking out her loot!!
