Walking Disaster

I like to refer to Jeff as my walking disaster. The guy seems to have the strangest freak accidents & other accidents due to either his lapse of judgement or his magnetic pull to disaster.
Yesterday he called to tell me about how he was removing a staple (not sure if it was from paper, or perhaps one jammed in the stapler... we'll have to get clarification on that one.) and a staple flipped up & got him in the eye. No, not just near the eye, actually in his eyeball! I teased & asked if his reflexes didn't allow him to close his eyes? He said it hasn't done anything to his vision, let's hope that doesn't change. Perhaps I'll be buying him some safety glasses for work.

Gross, huh?

So I was laughing about this little story while reading it (picturing a staple hitting the eye and bouncing off) that is until I scrolled down and saw the picture! Oh my goodness! How the heck! Hope he's doing much better.

Um yeah, Gross! Geeze, Jeff, that's intense. I definitely think he needs the safety goggles. Some really big ones, maybe with a yellow tint.

I can't wait for the clarification.
