When we moved to this lovely place nearly 4 years ago we learned that there was a group of 3 families that had a babysitting swap going on. They had a set day & time each week.... Saturday from 5-8 (I'm not positive on that time, but you get the idea.) Each family took a turn each month. So you babysat all the kids for one evening & in turn you got 2 Saturday nights out-kid free-for free! I LOVED the idea! This group didn't need anyone else, the had learned that 3 families was perfect, because there was always 4 Saturdays, (sometimes 5) in a month, so this allowed for a little swapping things around due to schedules/holidays/etc. I began asking around, & at the time I just had a very young Hannah & everyone I found who was interested had 3 kids. They didn't feel it a fair switch for me.... and to be honest I was a little scared being a mom of one, having to watch a total of 7 children! YIKES!! Even if I did have help from Jeff.Well 4 years have passed, I now have 2.. almost 3 & I am still loving the idea. There are so many of my fellow Oklahoma friends that don't have the budget to get a sitter & go out regularly & so it is those of you I am talking to. Anyone interested? Anyone want to give it a trial run? It seems like a good time of year, the weather is warming up & kids can play outside, so there can be a little less damage on the inside of your house. Just think... 3 hours of CHAOS for 6 hours of date night. (We could adjust the time to what works best for people.)
Let me know!

I'm so sad we're moving! This would have been perfect.
I'm in!!
Hey Megan....we're interested.
I love that idea! I don't know how that would work with McKay, but keep me posted :-)
I'm in, I'm in, you can leave you kids with me and grumpy and go out and then you can watch our pretend dog!! You won't get a better offer than that. Oh. . .wait . . .you live 1000 miles away, that won't work - DANG!
Wish we lived closer! It is a wonderful idea! I might have to steal it.
