I love the 4th of July...
We went to the same parade we've gone to for the last few years. I forgot my camera, and couldn't find a personal photographer to bring. It was cool with a light drizzle, and we got to the car just in time for a total downpour.
Does anyone else get choked up when all the soldiers come through the parad carrying the American flag? It gets me every time... and then before I can gain control of myself they have the mothers and wives of soldiers come, carrying pictures of their soldier. Oh for the love, I am beyond choked up by that point.

We have enjoyed our long holiday weekend, it was very low key and a little lazy.
But there was plenty of entertainment within our little home.
We did a few fireworks at the house on Saturday... Milo was in heaven with all the fire!
