With the rain this morning I told Jeff we wouldn't need to the car, so he could take it (the other options are riding the scooter or us taking him.) Well Hannah caught onto the idea of a day inside playing & pulled out the dress-ups. First she decided to be Ariel from The Little Mermaid.

Jeff got the luxury of being King Tritan, & I had to rotate between Ursela & Sabastian! (These roles never involve dressing up on our part.)
As soon as I was just getting warmed up, we were no longer playing Ariel, & we had begun dressing up as a pretty princess. I tried to get Hannah to wear the fun pink wig - which she always calls The Crazy Hair - but she quickly said no.

I thought I'd join in on the dressing up to be silly & see what she thought. So I quickly went into the bathroom finished my make-up & got dressed up, jewelry and all. I was just going in to ask if she wanted to join me for a Tea Party, when I heard her running to find me... She stopped dead in her tracks & began to giggle. She couldn't look at me with a straight face! It was better than any reaction I had hoped for. Hannah said she needed to get pretty, so we gave her a little blush, some lipgloss & a beauty mark! She was even kind enough to pose in a few photos with me.
