This morning we decided to have a little craft time, & today it was macaroni crafts. What kid doesn't love using some glue & some macaroni!?! Hannah is no exception, she loved the idea of playing with glue & thought the noodles were so much fun. We talked about today being St. Patrick's Day & little green leprechauns. She informed me that they were bad guys & I told that they were nice, so she wanted to know more about them & what they did. I told her that they were cousins to our little house elf, Twinkle Toes, & they were just stopping through for a visit today. This of course lead into the story of Twinkle Toes & how he is the elf that lives in our house. He watches to make sure we are good all year long & he reports back to Santa.
Hannah loved the whole idea of leprechauns & Twinkle Toes & wanted to see them. I told her should couldn't, they were very shy & scared of people. I did tell her that if she was really good & took a good nap that they might leave her a little treasure hunt. So hopefully she won't be too excited to sleep, sometimes plans have a way of not working out due to excitement.
We also pulled out the plastic easter eggs & those offered hours of entertainment today.
