I've been on a meatball kick lately. I made a batch in the oven for the first time a month or so ago (thanks Kristen) & fell in love with the simplicity! I've always been a skillet method girl & the time it took to cook them in batches along with the fact that they would occasionally fall apart made me a little crazy & I would opt not to make them. I know love making a huge batch & keeping them in the freezer... they freeze beautifully.
I just rotated the trays a few times during the cooking process.
The kids & I usually have a couple as an afternoon snack. They are such an easy quick meal with a little marinara over pasta or rolls for a sandwich. They are a quick lunch for hungry kids either plain or with your choice of sauce. We've even cut them up & put them on pizza when we were out of topping options.

YOU ARE MY SHE-RO!!! Please give me your ambition miss fabulosity- and while you're at it - eat a meatball for me with some hot mustard or horseradish on it!!!
Hmmmm, Oven huh? Never thought of that one. I also love meatballs. I use ground veal, italian sausage, and burger in mine. I love eating them but hate the mess they make when I fry them. I will try baking them next time. Great tip...Thanks.
Cool! So what's the recipe?
That is a lot of meatballs!
You are SO my freezer friend Ü. And they look delicous! Also, I love Hannah's Halloween want-to-be, that is so sweet!
