There was a little confusion with Hannah's surgery date... the paperwork I was given said Monday the 15th, but yesterday I received a call telling me what time she needed to be there this morning. Luckily this worked out for us!
We checked in at the surgery center at 7:15 AM & everything went great. She said she was scared, but she was so very brave when the nurse took her from me in pre-op to head to the operating room. I was thrilled that they put her to sleep before placing her IV... that wouldn't have been fun.
The surgeon said she did great & they would get us when she woke up. When we went back she was a little weepy & I told her it was okay to cry... and she did just that! She was in some pain, and just wanted to go home. She did tell me she didn't want her tonsils out, & was a little shocked when I told her it was over. By the time the pain medicine kicked in & we were home she seems to be doing great!

Are you on complete survival mode? I'm glad all went well with Miss Hannah, but you are on the count down for this baby and probably not feeling your best. Hang in there. Love ya.
