Long day... started with a really quick look through the Easter Basket, while trying to get ready for an 8:30 block of church to attend a dear friend's baby blessing. We returned home in time for Hannah to go down for an early nap & for me to make some dessert to take to dinner tonight.

We then left to attend our 1:30 block of church. Our sacrament wasn't nearly as enjoyable as the one we attended this morning.. too bad! But the rest of the block was good, especially the wonderful lesson given my Emily. (That girl amazes me with her lesson each month!!)
After church we headed over to some friends for an Easter Egg hunt & dinner. There were 4 families that made up 11 kids (ranging in age from 18 months to 9) & 8 adults. It was great fun! The kids loved the hunt & the older kids were nice enough to give the smaller ones a 1 minute head start. Despite the fact it was quite cold the kids wanted to stay out & play. So the adults finished the dinner preparations & were able to eat while the kids were playing. We had a hard time getting the kids to sit down long enough to eat, but as long as they were having fun & getting along we weren't going to mess with it. Despite the fact the day started & we didn't get home until after 9:00, it was a great day!!

That top picture of Hannah is SOOO cute and thank you, thank you for the compliment on my lessons. I think that one went especially well because I didn't do much talking but got good discussion going.
