Update Update, Who wants an Update?

I bet that got our attention... now I must admit, there isn't a whole lot to update! Perhaps that was a little too "the boy who cried wolf" wasn't it? I apologize!

Well Hannah has been so busy... well she is always busy, she's 2! She just seems to be learning so much, so fast. It's amazing!! Jeff and I are amazed by her on a daily basis, and we enjoy her more than you would think is humanly possible.

A good friend of mine has decided to return to work one day a week. She has a 2 year-old son (who is good friends with Hannah,) and a 12 week-old daughter. The one day a week is a part-time thing, she will do this for 3 months. I told her I would be willing to watch her little ones for the 3 months. She took me up on that offer, and this last Friday was our first day. So Hannah and I packed up early in the morning and headed to her house (she has a bigger home & Hannah is more used to her house, than her kids are to mine... so this works out great!) It was a great day, the kids played great, & the baby was a complete angel (she really is such a good baby... a great sleeper & a great eater!) Being that it is just one day a week, it's perfect! It will be fun for the kids to play, & great practice for Hannah to get used to sharing her mommy! And of course the added bonus of getting paid!! I am saving the money to put towards items we will need in preparation for the baby.

Friday was also supposed to be our Primary Quarterly Activity, but due to the serious rain & tornado watch we were under, the Primary president decided to postpone the activity until next Friday. We have to get it done by then, as it is a Easter Activity! I'm glad we pushed it back, because we had insane amounts of rain. We received over 2 inches on Friday alone, and that was on top of the near 2 inches we had received in the previous days. But it really would have been nice to have it finished. So we stayed at our friends, Jeff joined us after work for dinner and to visit. The kids went out and played in the rain, which was more like a shallow pond, because of all the water their yard was holding. But they had so much fun!! (I'll add a picture when I get them.)

This weekend was also general conference, I love general conference. I was telling Hannah about it all week & that we would get to see President Hinckley on television & she was so excited, she even tried to get out of taking a nap saying that she really wanted to watch him on T.V. Thank goodness for DVR I will be able to catch all of conference... it will take longer than 2 days, but it will be worth it. The only downfall of the weekend is that Hannah's snotty nose has turned into a cold & I woke up Saturday with the sore throat that marks the beginning of a cold. Hopefully it will be short-lived!

Today Hannah received a package in the mail... it was a big box full of Easter Treats from Tutu! She was so excited that it was for her & even more excited that it contained her body weight in chocolate!!

Sounds fun and busy around there. Ross does have maternity stuff, but the shirts I got were actually just larges in the juniors section. It is so awesome that baby doll shirts are so in right now!
