Maximum Capacity & 10 weeks

I just put a load of laundry in the washer... this was not the everyday average load. This was a special load of stained clothing. I'm sure you are all wondering what my creative Hannah has been up to, but these stains come from this sweet little face!
Can I tell you how much I love this pink corduroy outfit!! Jeff had arrived home & we were all going to go with him to run a quick errand. The kids & I had been doing a little craft project as Viv sat kicking & cooing in one of the very comfy over sized chairs. I walked over to get her & while I looked at her little legs kicking back & forth I noticed a slimy yellow substance! Yep, you got it... she was sitting a puddle from her poo explosion! Her colon had reached maximum capacity... and so had her diaper for that matter.

After yelping a bit & getting Jeff to come take a look (why do I like to show all messes to him?) I was going through possible plans of action in my head, & I decided to pick her up to survey the damage on the chair. Jeff informed me that she was leaking... (Uh, did he just now noticed the poop all over?) No, he was informing me that it was dripping down her legs & out of her pants creating another puddle. The bathtub seemed the smartest choice to further evaluate & clean her up, & as we headed in that direction I suggested Jeff head on without us. He was kind enough to clean up the chair puddles.

I decided to not include photos of this adventure, because who really wants to see that, & I want everyone to hesitate before sitting down in my living room. I will tell you that Viv is now naked, happy & sleeping. Her once darling pink outfit was yellow from the waist down. I rinsed it out & tossed it in the washer in hopes that it will come clean. Oh, & if you're wondering about the irony... I spent a good amount of time this morning scrubbing down my tub & shower (that may not seem like much to you, but it's my least favorite task & gets more of a rinse than a thorough scrub!)

P.S. Viv is 10 weeks today & is one happy baby. She is easy going & is all smiles! Last night she went over 10 hours between feedings, & it resulted in me getting a 7 hour stretch! We all love her to pieces.
