Dirty Windows

I love nice clean windows and mirrors. But in my short 5 1/2 years of experience with children, I have learned that they don't feel the same way. They seem to be drawn to clean glass, or really just glass in general. Boys on the other hand seem to be bothered by the clean glass. I have to admit that I do love a good hand print.... this one has been there for quite awhile
. I washed our storm door and within 30 minutes Milo was using his popsicle to draw all over the door. There are times when I clean my glass doors I take an extra 30 seconds staring at the clean glass.
They entertained each other the other day... Viv on the inside, while the other two were outside.

I've been told, by those who no longer have little ones at home, that this will last only a short time and I will one day long for dirty windows. I can actually see the truth in that, and so I am choosing to enjoy my dirty windows. I heart this great quote from a great lesson in Relief Society on Sunday...
"A home clean enough to be healthy, dirty enough to be happy."
That is how I am choosing to have my home from now on!
