How sad is it that my mom had to see these pictures on my friend's blog?
How sad is it that my personal photographer, who happens to be my "Bestie" (as Jeff refers to her) moved away this weekend?
Well I'll tell you ... it's sad all the way around!
Remember back in May, we had an anniversary?
Well we actually got a sitter and went out!
(That is HUGE for us!)
We went out with 2 other couples, who have the same anniversary, to Big Truck Tacos.
Not very fancy, but very VERY tasty!
Remember that holiday that marks the beginning of BBQ season & summer?
We spent our Memorial Day outside. We had friends over for ribs, but after a rib disaster we ended up eating burgers and hot dogs.
The kids ran wild & did a bang up job of watering the yard.
Except for my cute little Viv.. She sat on the sidelines with Kristen & I watching.
There was enough water to turn gravel into mud... Only boys are capable of that (sorry Kristen, it's true.. hehe.) But even if it was the boys that turned found the mud, Hannah was the one to start the full body wrap.
Early June marks the beginning of Blackberry season here... and so we met up with Kristen and the boys early one morning & spent a hot sticky morning picking lots of berries.
You can't really tell in this picture, but while I thought she was sitting peacefully in the stroller, she was actually grabbing any berries she could get her hands on.
I was sad to see all the purple stains on her dress. Thanks to Kristen's middle man & their blackberries, she was able to pass on some valuable cleaning tips.
Here are the little people after we had picked and paid.
I decided to go dig up last years picture... why must they continue to grow?!?
