Letters to Mr. Taylor: Slow Saturday

Mr. Taylor,

Today was a low key, simple Saturday. The lack of sleep is catching up with all of us! Mimaw made the yummiest Belgian waffles (why didn't I buy that new waffle iron?!) Harmony came over later & we headed to the mall....

it was a brave move considering the approaching nap time, but it was fine (if only Milo would learn to just close his eyes & give in to his exhaustion.) Hannah was such a good sport going through all the stores we needed, she knew she was going to go ride the carousel & was very anxious.
Tonight the Lloyd's came over & Trav took Hannah & Isaac out to play in the sprinklers. I was at the store, so I missed out on even watching. Both the kids were down for the count by 7:00. I spent the remainder of the evening making the outrageous brownies my mom requested.... there may or may not have been an error made in making these brownies... and they may or may not have overflown in the oven & stunk the house up like burned chocolate (not appetizing!) Even the the error DID occur there is no way it would have changed the volume of the batter, so it wouldn't be the cause IF they decided to overflow.
I am off to bed, having a queen to myself is very lonely, compared to our shared full size bed.

Love,
megan

Looks like you are having a fun time here in SLC. Have you talked to Mandi about Thursday at the Children's Museum, and called Kendall? I hope it works, can't wait to see you and the kids.
