Letters to Mr. Taylor: Friday Fun

Mr. Taylor,
I am in love with these cool mornings, I think the kids like them so much they want to enjoy more hours each morning. I'm not so keen on the 5 AM wake-ups, but the early morning run was very nice. After we sat out on the deck to enjoy it with the the lovely mountains to eat our breakfast... you'll never guess what we ate... yep, & it was delicious!

During breakfast Hannah informed me that she was a zookeeper, & we had work to do. She didn't like me sharing my breakfast with the zoo animals, Milo was the chimpanzee. We played outside feeding the animals of the zoo in my mom's backyard. It's a small zoo... flamingos (who are in need of a bath) & a chimpanzee (my personal favorite!). The neighbors have Gorillas, but we weren't able to see them this morning. Between the zoo & Milo enjoying the return air vents in the hallway, it was a morning of easy entertainment!

After Milo's AM nap we headed to the park, & had a great time racing down slides (sorry no pics, Milo hasn't learned to use the camera yet.) After breaking a sweat we headed over to the local strip mall to get some lunch. There is a little Italian Gelato/Bakery place that I've heard is fab, but before we got that far, we passed a large greasy burger chain & Hannah said she wanted to go there for lunch. I decided to accommodate her request, & despite how greasy the food & dining area were, my lunch dates were enjoyable!

It's Friday you know, so you'll never guess where we went for dinner! Your favorite place! It included all the great things... great company, a great mariachi band, & a great burrito...

Breakfast is a little joke. I have been on an Oatmeal kick & eat it 5 or 6 days a week. jeff can't believe I can eat it every day.
