So, in the area Josh and I live now in Phoenix it is close to the Scottsdale/Phoenix border. They wanted to put a super walmart just a few minutes down the street. Apparently the people in town fought it tooth and nail for almost three years. They picketed, petitioned, and went to city council meetings. They did NOT want a super walmart here.
Walmart won. It's in now. We went there tonight for our grocery shopping. We are horrible but they had the Azteca shells that you can ONLY get at walmart and we wanted those. I will say it was rather empty for a Saturday evening. I'm guessing the town hasn't warmed up to it yet?
