I'm Okay with it...

I've written posts on the past about feeling lost or perhaps less than some of the amazing women I associate with, because they seem to have some sort of talent or hobby. Thanks to one of these amazing women, Dani, I was introduced to one of my new favorite blogs... Clover Lane. I read this post tonight & realized why I can't seem to really commit the time to getting involved with some of the things I'd like... I'm one of those people who would feel stretched too thin. So my hobby is going to be just what I spend my time doing, mothering! It really is what I love the most!!

If you haven't been over to Clover Lane, curl up with a blanket & enjoy a visit! I started out back at the beginning, & read the first year or so, but this week I went to the most recent & have been working my way back. You are bound to find something you'll love over there!

P.S. She posted this video & it is worth the 7 1/2 minutes!

I've just tipped my toe in the blog ... thanks for the email (on FB) I know that I will come to enjoy it and find the enjoyment in the little things of being a mom. I am so thankful for the examples in my life of moms i want to be like and you were/are one of those examples. Thank you again.

Thanks for making me cry! That movie was very touching. I think I'll be having a better day tomorrow because of it. :)

"I long to accomplish a great and noble task, but it is my chief duty to accomplish small tasks as if they were great and noble."

I love this quote from Helen Keller because it describes motherhood so well. These small day-to-day duties are really great and amazing things.

Yes Clover Lane is fabulous. So are you. Remember there is a time and season for everything. Your time and season now is taking care of the beautiful children that bless your home, and to support your husband . . . . and last but not least post pics of my darling grandkid-lets. You are amazing in what you do and you fail to recognize your varied talents. Call me and I will elaborate.
